If you live in the North County, you may have felt the earth shaking just after midnight.

A magnitude-3.4 earthquake struck about 8 miles north of Cayucos at 12:08 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Most people who reported feeling the quake were in Paso Robles, Cambria, Atascadero and Morro Bay, according to the USGS, which recorded 159 total responses. People also reported feeling the earthquake in Los Osos, San Luis Obispo, Cayucos and Templeton.
